STAYING POSITIVE: FAILURE IS A BLESSING by FOLARIN OLUWASAYO

The accomplishment you gain in life is a factor of your perspective of sequence of events that happens in your life. Many prepare so much for success without considering that it is not a bequest, and no matter how meticulous you can be, there will always be a point which you would think you could you have done better. Failure is an element of life but you can choose if it should exist in your vocabulary of life through the spectrum you view situations. Unfortunately, humans don’t have the ability to rewind the hands of time and undo the very things that made them cry. There is opportunity in every disappointment and as Homo sapiens we are always left with choices to embrace.  Having the right mind set is not just a panacea to success but it is a conscious effort to see that failure is a blessing awaiting to be unveiled.

TURNING FAILURE INTO SUCCESS?
Have you really thought about other people who have experienced similar situation you are facing today? Thomas Edison tried 999 times before the breakthrough of the experiment that birth the most application electricity - incadescent light. The next time you fail, see it as you have learnt one way of not failing at that particular course and try again. It’s only those that are successful with failures that will eventually be celebrated and remember, real success is what you share.

Another potent weapon in turning your failure to success is making sure you learn from your failures. It’s very paramount you do a root cause analysis of why you failure so that you can then take deliberate and consistent effort in overcoming the challenge. This might require you learn a skill, acquire more knowledge or network with new people whichever it is, the most important thing is implementing the solution(s) to the challenge and in case you are out of idea about the solution, use search engine to see how other people overcame this same challenge(s), don’t discount the power of search engines at your finger tip.

It takes courage to start a journey but it takes another stronger one to sustain the drive in the face of wearying storm(s). When you fail, review why you started, criticise your past actions and never yourself. This will stir up the energy in you to do more, if you think this is not enough, picture the glorious destination you envisage before starting,  the resources and time you have invested in the project, and the people that are looking up to your success. Definitely, these will stir up the smidgen energy in you never to give up, give in or give out. Stand up to be counted or bow down and be counted out. Hark back to this vital point, it is an amour in turning failure to success.
The people you associate with determine your attitude to failure, in turning failure to success, mind the people you seek advice from. Some people are best at discouraging and using their experiences to judge a situation. When you are faced with failure, carefully choose those you think are open-minded and less bias at making their opinion known and giving advices and make your challenges known to them, they tend to give a blatant view of what they think the challenge is and the way forward.
In conclusion, Success is not an option but a necessity. In your vocabulary be determine not to entertain the word failure, revise your attitude to circumstances in life and always think of making out the very best out of them.
