PURPOSE: WHEN THE PURPOSE IS NOT CLEAR

Many of us have been caught in this dilemma; even most of us are still striving to get out of it while only few of us have been able to overcome it. Everybody wants to be a million things in a lifetime that reads each day-phobics of thousand things. Most people in this dilemma are multi talented, some can learn anything, few are evil wishers. Evil wish is when you wish for something with an almost zero probability of happening.

Multi talented people are always confused of which vocation to undertake.  They love this and good at that. The duration dedicated to practising this is also dedicated to practising the other.  They are confused of which to choose-this is when purpose is not clear.
Folks who can learn anything are even more confused than the multi talented but their's can be easily resolved. They just simply need to control their vested interest. They can learn to lead a large company in 6 months without prior experience. You might question how is that possible or how did I know that, and I can answer you ''I am one of this species''. Have never lead a large company but I have led groups demanding technicalities of leading a large company. Did I succeeded? Yes of course-without prior experience. We are always complimented with ''He is a fast learner''. We read and grasps things easily but what we don't meditate and rehearse on,  we forget easily but always have some blur images or faint memory of it.  I have seen people who belong to this group-Aliko Dangote and Richard Branson the president of Dangote cement groups and Virgin groups respectively. It's this ability that enable them to be able to diversify that much. They can venture into any type of business but control of their vested interest is their only lifeline; if not there will be too much of iron in these blacksmiths furnace.

The evil wishers are mostly with one or none discovered talent. They always flow in the direction of the river.
They are well described by Anthony Robbin in his book Unlimited Power ''There are people-we all know some of them-who seem constantly lost in a fog of confusion. They go one way, then another. They move down one part and then retreat in the opposite direction. They don't know what they want. You can't hit a target if you don't know what it is'' The few that have discovered their talent has one of the two requirement necessary to open any door: you need to possess the key; and also walk toward the door to be able to use the key. In buildings with advanced technology like banks and hotels, you need to press the elevator or door button and to do this you need to walk toward the door.

People who has not discovered their talent are pseudo-multi talented. They venture into many and any business they see flourishing. They don't always bother to check the recipe before they start cooking. With the non tasty food they cook they will still proceed to open a restaurant and call themself chef.  It is only when they see nobody coming back that they learn their lesson.  They then discover the business is a failure but they are foolish and that makes the owner and business a foolishfailure.

Know where you fit in to know how to have a clear purpose.
